Does exactly what was required and what it said on the website. Easy to assemble. Very efficient service and rapid delivery.

Went together really easily and is very comfortable and sturdy. Adjusts well. The colour isn’t quite as bright as in the photo, which is a good thing.

Already assembled and ready to use - what's not to like?!

Easy to assemble., no tools needed.

I'm a writer who sometimes spends much longer in his chair than he should. I wanted a proper 'working' chair, not some fancy 'executive status symbol'. This one fits my requirements.

New chair has been unpacked, assembled, and 'tweaked' to fit me properly. Got lost in transit for one day, but turned up mid-morning flat-packed in a big box.

As you can see it's nothing exotic. No arms , although these were optional, because I don't like arms on a typing chair. Plain black fabric, which will soon be semi-furred with long grey hairs, unless I put some kind of cover over it, which probably won't happen.. Chair is for go, not show ;-)

It's wide enough for my bum without having loads of surplus seat sticking out either side. Can let my arms hang freely each side whilst sitting back and having a stretch ;-) Has the 'waterfall front' which I really like in a seat intended for lengthy sitting.

The padding feels reassuringly firm, and I can always replace that later if it starts going flat on me. But that will be some way down the line.

I made two changes from bog standard, which I've done to several chairs over the years.

It came with castors, but I swapped them for the relatively stable and non-slipping 'glides' from my old chair. Also took time and a sheet of sandpaper to rough up the bottom of the glides to make them a little less 'glidey'. I do this periodically. They still slide over carpet when moving it around the room but stay pretty well where I put them with my weight on the chair.

I also assembled it with a slightly longer than supplied gas-lift strut, the same length as I've used for all my office chairs because my home-made built-in desk is a bit too tall for the max extension on standard gas struts. Which is why the plastic strut cover isn't fitted..

Therefore all is well for now in this writer's den.
